Welcome to Vix Student Storage. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage services and website. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Vix Student Storage provides student storage solutions including collection, storage, and delivery of personal belongings during academic breaks and transitions.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through our website or authorized channels
  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
  • Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
  • We accept payment methods as displayed on our website

4. Collection and Delivery

  • Collection and delivery times will be arranged in advance
  • You must be present or arrange for someone to be present during collection/delivery
  • We reserve the right to refuse collection of prohibited items

5. Storage Period

  • Storage periods are as agreed at the time of booking
  • Extensions may be available subject to availability and additional charges
  • Items must be collected by the agreed date

6. Your Responsibilities

  • All items must be properly packed and labeled
  • You must provide accurate inventory information
  • Prohibited items must not be stored (see Section 7)
  • You are responsible for insuring high-value items

7. Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted in storage:

  • Perishable food items
  • Hazardous materials, flammable substances
  • Illegal items or substances
  • Living plants or animals
  • Firearms, weapons, or explosives
  • Items with strong odors

8. Liability and Insurance

  • We take reasonable care of your belongings while in storage
  • Our liability is limited as set out in our insurance policy
  • We recommend you maintain your own insurance for valuable items
  • Claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery

9. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 14 days before collection date: full refund
  • Cancellations made 7-14 days before: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before: no refund
  • We reserve the right to cancel services due to circumstances beyond our control

10. Uncollected Items

If items are not collected within 30 days of the agreed collection date, we reserve the right to charge additional storage fees or dispose of items after providing reasonable notice.

11. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
